| Welcome to the Kentucky Department for Environmental Protection Electronic Submittals web site. This site is designed to facilitate submittal of routine notifications and electronic documents via the web. A routine notification involves a release of pollutants or contaminants into the environment that do not cause imminent danger to the human health or environment; they are below the reportable quantity of the contaminant; and they do not cause a sheen on waters of the Commonwealth. This should be the only notification type reported on this web site. Electronic documents submitted through this portal may be any type of electronic file, e.g. applications, data files, or other documentation required under a permit, certification, or contract; similarly, DEP may post updated documentation for various audiences. You may also find help, including user manuals, by clicking the "User Help" link in the upper right section of this web site. |
2025 Air Emissions Survey will Open on MARCH 23RD, 2026
The 2025 Air Emissions Survey will open for submissions on March 23rd, 2026, at 8 am EST. Please use this time to verify your account on ePortal (email DAQEmissions@ky.gov to inquire if you have an account or not). The 2025 Air Emissions Survey is due on April 22nd, 2026.

User Help - Submitting the Air Emissions Survey
If you need assistance when it comes to submitting the Air Emissions Survey, please note that there are guidance documents under "User Help" in the upper right-hand corner of this webpage. These documents can be downloaded and saved for future use. The two documents that will be most helpful are: 1) DAQ Emissions Survey FAQ and 2) Instructions for Filling out the Annual DAQ Emissions Survey

2025 Air Emissions Survey is DUE April 22, 2026
If an extension is needed past this date, inform KY EIS at DAQEmissions@ky.gov as soon as possible. Emissions data must be submitted to verify your compliance status, in accordance with 401 KAR 52:(020; 030; 040 or 070) and in relation to 401 KAR 50:038, Air Emissions Fee.¿
